WORK EXPERIENCE: Herb's diverse career includes having worked as an industrial sales engineer dealing with hydro-mechanical-electrical equipment. He grew up working in a machine shop rebuilding large equipment and diesel engines. Managing million dollar municipal and industrial projects was part of normal business. In the years spent as a service/testing engineer on large submersible electric motor, pump and generator installations, Herb acquired extensive experience in Project Management and helped write a Quality Control Program for Nuclear Grade Repairs. He also worked as the Master and Engineer on dive suppport vessels. Herb has been a captain since 1985 and has cruised ten countries over 30 years, 20 of which have been as a well-known captain in the international luxury charter market. This translates into over 10,000 hours spent at sea, not tied to a dock.

Having cruised extensively in the Mediterranean for the last 7 years, Drew knows the secret sports to stop for a swim. Drew is working towards his Chief Mate's License. WORK EXPERIENCE: Kelly grew up in Vancouver where a passion for travel was developed at a young age. Working in the hospitality industry helped Kelly live and travel all over the world, including living abroad in Japan, Cayman Islands and Central America. During her yachting career which spans 10 years, she has worked on many private and charter yachts. Through travel Kelly found a love of yoga. In 2008 Kelly completed an instructor’s course in Koh Samui, Thailand. Ashtanga and hot yoga remain an influencing part of her life and it is something she still enjoys in the yachting lifestyle. Her British ancestry has also fueled a passion for tea. In 2009 Kelly gained a formal tea sommelier qualification. The traditional art of the Chinese tea ritual, Kung Fu Cha, and Japanese tea have always interested Kelly. The skills and art is something she loves to share with guests aboard ROCKSTAR. When Kelly is not sailing the high seas, you will find her enjoying life on land at her tropical base in Costa Rica.

Nichole has a calm approach and focuses on tailoring service to guest needs.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Quinton grew up in Cape Town where worked as a project manager for multiple construction sites and also managed corporation events. Quinton sold a co-ownership in a construction company after sailing off the East Coast of Africa in Tanzania and embarking on a yachting career. He also worked as a volunteer project manager/coordinator for a social relief organization that set up HIV clinics in Africa which involved transporting 90 volunteers and doctors. He really enjoys his time spent on the ocean and happily assists guests with all water sport activities. Quinton is our RYA PWC (waverunner) instructor.
